| The Namaske Lake Association was formed in July of 2008 by lake side residents to coordinate the process of eradication and suppression of future growth of the milfoil that has infested Namaske Lake (formerly known as The Piscataquog River) in Goffstown and Manchester, NH since the Mothers Day Flood of 2006. The purpose of the Association is to coordinate the process of eradication and suppression of future growth of the milfoil that has infested Lake Namaske (formerly known as The Piscataquog River) in Goffstown and Manchester, NH. In addition, the Association will keep its members informed (through this website and other means) as to the status of the project, its funding, and what they can do to help. The goal is to treat the lake with an herbicide in the Spring of 2010, and have a clean milfoil free summer season. In order for this to happen,
Membership in this Association is open to all individuals, municipalities, organizations, or clubs in agreement with the purposes of this Association. Annual dues (set at $10 per year) Each paid membership shall be entitled to one vote at the Annual Meeting. We hope to be able to represent as many residents, concerned citizens and organizations as possible. The more members we have, the stronger our voice will be when asking for State and local government support. Please join our association now! Any and all members of your household (18 and over) may and are encouraged to join. |
